Korea Trip: January 2014

For this post, I just want to share some photos of dishes I was fortunate enough to enjoy in Seoul. Don’t be too jealous!

  1. It looks like the mushroom perilla seed soup is served in a heated dish so that it’s hot and bubbling. Is it?

Also, YOU called it mushroom perilla seed “seoup”. Was that an error, or a bit of spelling humor: Seoul+soup = seoup. 😉

    • Yes- the mushroom perilla seed soup was served in a heated bowl over a hot stone to keep it heated. Unfortunately, I did make an error. Oops, haha. Thanks for letting me know 🙂
